Dorchester Area

Dorchester is the county town of Dorset. There are two towers within the town boundaries and a varied selection of towers to the north-west along the A37 and A356 roads.

The towers at , a few miles southwest of Dorchester, and at are also worth considering.

Car and Coach Parking

There are several pay-and-display car parks in Dorchester town centre, all within reasonable walking distance of the church. There is a church car park at Fordington - access is by a drive-way beside the church. Bradford Peverell and Martinstown have small parking areas in front of the church. Parking at the other towers is limited to roads around the churches.

Refreshments

There is a wide range of cafes, restaurants and pubs in Dorchester. There are village pubs close to most of the other towers, although not all of these are good for large groups. Martinstown does have a larger pub serving a range of meals.

Toilets

There are public toilets in the car parks at Dorchester. There is a toilet inside the church at Cattistock.
